The SecVI partners met in Erlangen, Germany for the final SecVI project workshop to present their results. The partners demonstrated their security archtecture for future vehicles including network access control with Software-Defined Networking, network anomaly and intrusion detection systems, and a cloud cyber defense center in the SecVI prototype vehicle.

Falk Langer, Lukas Stahlbock and Sebastian Eckhardt from IAV attended the 17th Embedded Security in Cars (escar) Europe conference in Stuttgart, Germany and presented the Paper: “Establishing an Automotive Cyber Defense Center”. The full paper can be found in our publications section.
HAW Hamburg and IAV Automotive Engineering presented a first demonstration of secure automotive networks at the 2019 AEC in Munich. The demo shows the application of Software-Defined Networking in combination with AI Network Anomaly Detection to prevent attacks in the in-vehicular network.
